Welding & Fabrication Realities Around Lake Champlain

Island Welders started as in-house capability. For years, Grand Isle Gophers and Green Mountain Marine Services handled their own welding and fabrication: custom brackets for excavation projects, dock components for marine construction, equipment repairs that couldn’t wait on outside shops. Lucas Campbell kept adding equipment as the work demanded it. Now that shop is open to the public.

Our shop is at 122 US Route 2 in Grand Isle. We take projects throughout Grand Isle County (South Hero, North Hero, Isle La Motte, Alburgh) and surrounding communities within about an hour, including Burlington, St. Albans, and Plattsburgh on the New York side.

For mobile welding, we go where the work is. For shop jobs, you’re not driving to Burlington and back.
